DPS custom library with filter support

We are looking to build a custom library with filter support.  I love the site DPS Configurator made by Derek Lu.

I have asked Derek Lu to add filter support the DPS configurator and he is looking into it.

But it does not have offer filter support yet.  We use the library filter in folio producer to filter issues by year.  Has anyone been able to get filter support working in a custom library for DPS that would like to share code?
