But how do you keep the background from the first picture? In your case you would have to make a white background? but e.g. if you stretch a waterline you can do that with no problem because it just takes it more to one or both sides.
In Corel it just stretches it out. You could mark around the leopard - and then stretch the picture to the desired ratio. I tried in Elements the recompose tool - and it almost succeeded but the edges were no good.
